SAN JOSE, Calif. - PennZone -- Method3 Fitness, a local fitness studio in the Cambrian area has launched a 21 Day At-Home Workout & Accountability Challenge with proceeds supporting local small businesses that have been affected by COVID-19.

"We wanted to create something that not only helped people work on self care, health, and fitness, but that also gave back to local businesses to support them during this crisis," says John Heringer, Chief Motivator at Method3 Fitness.

In just a few days, over 100 participants have enrolled in the challenge and over $6,000 has been raised to support local businesses.

Humberto Olvera, owner of Blvd Coffee of Los Gatos & Almaden, who had over $500 worth of gift cards purchased from his business with proceeds from the challenge says, "I am so impressed by Method3 Fitness and I am so grateful to be included in this opportunity. Thank you!"

Adriana Amador, Asst. General Manager of Enoteca la Storia in San Jose, who also had over $500 worth of gift cards purchased from her business with proceeds from the challenge says, "We are so grateful and we really appreciate the support from Method3 Fitness.  It's such a breath of fresh air to see how something so tragic like COVID-19 can bring something so amazingly positive to our community."
