Faith, Trust, Passion, Honor, and Excellent Performance are at the Center of All Successful Organizations

JONESBORO, Ark. - PennZone -- After 21 years as a US Navy SEAL, leading mission-based combat deployments on several continents, Command Master Chief (ret.) Stephen "Scuba" Barrett understands that trust is the foundation of success in life and in business. He founded the Barrett Strategic Leadership Group (BSLG) based on the philosophy that faith, trust, passion, honor, and excellent performance are at the center of all successful organizations.
BSLG's foundational approach is built on the Navy SEAL code:
  • Loyalty to Country, Team, and Teammates
  • Serve with Honor and Integrity On and Off the Battlefield
  • Ready to Lead, Ready to Follow, Never Quit
  • Take Responsibility for your Actions and the Actions of your Teammates
  • Excel through Discipline and Innovation
  • Earn your Trident Everyday

The Barrett Strategic Leadership Group offers instruction developed and delivered by our decorated veteran special operators and other experienced leaders, designed to improve decision-making and critical thinking, support conflict resolution, and help build cohesive teams. Our current class offerings include Professional Leadership Development; Managing Conflict and Confrontation in the Workplace; and will soon extend to Communicating for Leadership Success. Classes in development include Addressing Performance as Both a Manager and Individual Contributor; How to Develop Coaching and Mentoring Skills; and Making High-Quality Decisions.
