PITTSBURGH - PennZone -- Pittsburgh family law firm Pollock Begg is pleased to welcome Gina M. McKlveen as an associate attorney managing a wide range of family law issues.

Bringing a well-rounded legal background and holistic approach to her cases at Pollock Begg, McKlveen will focus her family law practice on custody and visitation, protection from abuse, domestic violence and criminal and civil litigation matters.

Prior to joining Pollock Begg, McKlveen started her career in civil litigation before working in the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office as an assistant district attorney. Additionally, she has been a guest lecturer at numerous colleges and universities and written extensively on sports litigation issues.

McKlveen's skill set also includes work in nonprofit law. She served as a staff attorney for HopeWorks, a Maryland-based nonprofit serving families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, and was a nonprofit law clerk for Roha & Flaherty Attorneys at Law in Washington, D.C. She has volunteered at local nonprofits, including Hello Neighbor and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.

McKlveen is a 2021 graduate of The George Washington University Law School where she was honored with the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award. In addition to her robust legal practice, she is a prolific painter. McKlveen has a keen interest in protecting the intellectual property rights of artists and spent a semester as a visiting law student in the Art & Entertainment Advocacy Legal Clinic at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. She earned bachelor's degrees in English and Studio Arts from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe.
