Pickleball Health Is For Everybody
OWINGS MILLS, Md. - PennZone -- In an impactful move to blend sports with health advocacy,  Pickleball International Committee, the world governing body for pickleball, announces a strategic partnership with the "Health is for EveryBODY" campaign. This partnership emerges against the backdrop of pickleball's surging popularity, with statistics showing a remarkable growth trend. Recent studies indicate that pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. and experiencing high growth around the world engaging players across diverse demographics, with a significant spike in interest among players aged 18-34.

"We are thrilled to partner with the 'Health is for EveryBODY' campaign. This collaboration is a testament to our belief that good health is crucial for peak performance, not just in sports but in every aspect of life," said Terry Cecil, CEO of Pickleball International Committee. The "Health is for EveryBODY" campaign, sponsored by the National Minority Health Association (NMHA), supports the health initiatives put forth by the World Economic Forum Zero Health Gaps Pledge (ZHGP) to improve health outcomes in communities across the globe. The NMHA is a signatory of the ZHGP. This partnership will enable Pickleball International to integrate the campaign's message into its burgeoning network of events and activities. The sport's increasing appeal will be harnessed to amplify the campaign's reach and impact, addressing health as a universal concern.

Pickleball, while promoting fitness and community, also presents health challenges for players, including risks of joint injuries, muscle strains, and overuse injuries. This partnership will address these issues, promoting safe play and health, both physical and mental, awareness among pickleball enthusiasts.

Pickleball International Committee will actively engage its network of affiliates, sponsors, venues, manufacturers, and players to focus on health as a global issue. This initiative marks a significant step towards using sports as a catalyst for creating healthier communities.
