A popular API product among beginner aquarists is getting a fresh start! Mars Fishcare will be relaunching API PERFECT START with a completely revamped look and feel, including new packaging and treatment containers.

CHALFONT, Pa. - PennZone -- A popular API product among beginner aquarists is getting a fresh start! In October, Mars Fishcare will be relaunching PERFECT START with a completely revamped look and feel, including new packaging and containers that make customization easier than ever before, as well as an enhanced step-by-step guide to creating a beautiful underwater world.

API PERFECT START is a unique aquarium starter program that provides everything a new fish keeper needs to successfully establish a new aquarium, keeping fish healthy and water clean and crystal clear.  API has hand-picked the most essential products to include in the package: API STRESS COAT™  water conditioner, API QUICK START™ nitrifying bacteria, API STRESS ZYME™ bacterial cleaner, and API AQUARIUM SALT, all of which contribute to a healthy, well-maintained tank.

"We're really eager to relaunch PERFECT START. We've made the included aquatic treatments easier than ever to dose, and we've readjusted the amounts of each product in the kit to make it customizable for your new tank," says Karyn Cook, Global Brand Manager.

The treatments included are customer favorites of the API brand that have consistently resulted in successful aquarium maintenance. STRESS COAT water conditioner is a must-have product for dechlorinating tap water to make aquariums safe for fish, and its soothing Aloe Vera component is an added bonus that promotes fish health. QUICK START nitrifying bacteria makes the process of starting a brand new tank that much quicker, as one dose of its beneficial bacteria will kick-start the natural aquarium cycle, enabling the instant addition of fish to your tank. Similarly, STRESS ZYME bacterial cleaner keeps aquarium water clean and clear with millions of live, beneficial bacteria per dose. Finally, AQUARIUM SALT promotes overall fish health and healing by improving gill function and providing essential electrolytes that fish need to reach peak coloration and vitality.
