ALLENTOWN, Pa. - PennZone -- Jennifer Eggers, President of LeaderShift Insights® Inc., has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Service to Smeal Award by The Penn State Smeal College of Business.

The Service to Smeal Award acknowledges individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and service. Eggers' efforts have consistently elevated the academic and professional environment within the Smeal community, making her a deserving recipient of this esteemed honor. Throughout her tenure, Jennifer Eggers has exhibited exemplary leadership and a profound commitment to connecting students, alumni, and faculty within the Smeal College of Business.

"Smeal alumni profoundly impact the college in myriad ways. We are grateful for their contributions and are honored to recognize this group of individuals for their professional achievements and selfless volunteer contributions," said Charles H. Whiteman, John and Karen Arnold Dean of Smeal.

Jennifer's service to Smeal began in 1992 when she served as a student representative to the Smeal College Alumni Society Board. After her graduation in 1994, she returned as a volunteer for several years until becoming elected to the board.  Eggers' notable achievements include spearheading initiatives to enhance student engagement, undergraduate mentoring, facilitate industry partnerships, and promote diversity and inclusion within the Smeal community. In recent years, Jennifer has been a frequent guest speaker in Management 355 and several alumni business clubs, has reviewed applications to the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program, participated as a student business case coach and is a member of the Hammond Society.
