AKRON, Ohio - PennZone -- Pathway Caring for Children, a private, non-profit social service agency with five locations throughout Northeast Ohio, held its annual fundraiser, the "Pathway to Possibilities Dinner & Auction," at the exquisite Greystone Hall in Akron, OH on Saturday, March 16th, 2024. The event was a resounding success, raising vital funds and attracting diverse supporters and sponsors.

The success of the "Pathway to Possibilities" auction event was a collective effort, made possible by the unwavering support and compassion of guests, sponsors, online bidders, item donors, and auction committee volunteers. Their collective contributions illuminated a brighter path forward for children and families in the community, empowering them to realize the possibilities of their lives through foster care, adoption, and mental health services.

The evening kicked off with an air of excitement as guests were welcomed into the elegant surroundings of Greystone Hall, setting the stage for an inspiring and impactful event. The silent and live auctions at the event featured a range of coveted items generously donated by local businesses and individuals, adding to the thrill and generosity of the evening. However, the true highlight of the event was when Mary and Jeff Elliott, two foster and adoptive parents from Pathway, shared their heartfelt journey of becoming parents through fostering and adoption. Guests were deeply moved by their story of love, compassion, and dedication towards improving the lives of children. The Elliott Family's testimonial inspired those present to give generously and contribute towards fostering a brighter, hope-filled future for children and families supported by Pathway.

As the event concluded, there was a palpable sense of fulfillment among guests, knowing their support would continue to uphold Pathway's 7 core values and sow the seeds of love, fostering an environment where every child feels cherished and valued.
