SANTA CRUZ, Calif. & LEBRING, Austria - Jan. 29, 2019 - PennZone -- Austrian Software as a Service (SaaS) specialist Intact has strengthened US focus by appointing Jake Lewin as new CEO of its US subsidiary, Intact US, Inc. Intact is already the leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution provider for organic certification performed under the USDA National Organic Program. In 2019 alone at least 50% of organic certification and accreditation by USDA will be performed using Ecert software to manage the system, issue certificates and serve clients, staff and inspectors while providing critical business insights to certification agencies.

Mr. Lewin, with more than 20 years of experience in the organic industry is widely recognized as a innovation leader that helped drive new systems and efficiencies throughout the organic certification community. Now, Mr. Lewin will drive Intact's expansion of their flagship product, Ecert, throughout new segments in the Testing, Inspection and Cortication (TIC) market. "Ecert was critical to my past success. Driving Growth in the US Market for Ecert
Ecert provides a complete solution for certifiers, inspectors, standard owners and accreditors to fully manage, gain efficiencies and improve operations. Prior to January 2019, Intact US, Inc and its parent company, Intact GmbH were both headed by Thomas Lorber. After building Intact's product Ecert from a small boutique application to a fully integrated SaaS solution for players of all kinds in certification, inspection and testing the company is ready to expand. "After a decade of working together and driving both our businesses forward, I'm excited to team up with Jake to bring Ecert to the next level and beyond" said Mr. Lorber.

With Jake Lewin leading executive management of Intact's US subsidiary, Intact is in a very strong position to fully focus on both the European and US markets. Intact US was formed in 2011 with an office established in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho soon after.

One of Jake Lewin's priorities will be to transfer Intact's success in the US organic sector to other segments in the US TIC market. Intact is poised to the leading SaaS-based software provider for food safety certification, management system certification, supplier audits, and more. Ecert is currently used around the world by businesses, governments and non-profits of all kinds.
