BELLEFONTE, Pa. - PennZone -- Actuated Medical is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Abdulsamad to their Medical Advisory Board. A highly respected expert in gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy, Dr. Abdulsamad is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with a clinical focus on third space endoscopy, complex resections and advanced therapeutic endoscopy including endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), endoscopic full thickness resection (EFTR), submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He brings extensive expertise and a passion for patient care that will greatly contribute to Actuated Medical's ongoing mission to improve healthcare solutions.

Dr. Abdulsamad earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He further honed his expertise with a residency and fellowship at BronxCare Health System, an affiliate with Mount Sinai. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dr. Abdulsamad's 18 years of comprehensive experience, especially in gastroenterology, and commitment to advancing medical practices will help shape Actuated Medical's strategic initiatives. His deep understanding of the latest advancements in gastroenterology will support the company's efforts to create cutting-edge medical solutions that improve patient care.
