Local hemp entrepreneurs launch CBD for a Cause to help support individuals affected by the COVID-19 shutdown with 100% of profits going to impacted health, wellness, and hospitality workers!

AURORA, Colo. - PennZone -- Healing Power of Hemp is proud to announce CBD for a Cause to support those impacted by the economic downturn due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Leveraging her 20 years in the non-profit human services sector, Healing Power of Hemp CEO and founder, Brenda McChesney, has a passion for those with health challenges. To innovatively do their part during the COVID-19 caused shutdowns, Healing Power of Hemp joined forces with Daniel Seelbinder,  Boulder Extracts CEO, restauranteur, and creator of a national mixology television show, to launch CBD for a Cause, a charitable giving resource to health, wellness and beauty professionals impacted by the pandemic.

Prior to the shutdown, this dynamic team planned to launch CBD & Me Parties in a Canvas and Cocktails type setting where groups could playfully engage with hemp CBD, bringing experts and hemp-enthusiasts together through a 90-minute hands-on CBD experience fusing hemp health education with everything you need to make your very own customized CBD creations. All the benefits of cannabis without the high!

Then, gyms, spas, salons, bars, and restaurants closed their doors due to the abrupt shutdown, leaving hundreds of thousands of professionals without income. In response, the team decided to pivot to launch CBD & Me Parties as a virtual at-home hemp party featuring guest experts showcasing their favorite at-home hemp creations. 100% of profits from each video go directly to the featured guest expert experiencing financial impact from COVID-19.  To date, CBD & Me Parties have hosted internationally renowned DJ Taz Rashid and DJ Twist, Colorado-native singer-songwriter Hillary Branik, international beauty expert Sam La Bella, meditation expert and author Briana Bragg, yoga expert and author Avital Miller, Chef Bernie Bernier, and Florida-based wellness coach Sequoyah Ase Taylor! All episodes for CBD & Me Parties can be found on the Healing Power of Hemp Facebook page.

On May 15, CBD & Me Parties has lined up a very special night of stand-up comedy you do not want to miss!
