Companies To Provide Regenerative Agriculture Edge Computing Solutions For Fast-Growing Indoor Smart Farming Environments

EDINBURGH, Scotland - PennZone -- IOTech, the edge software company, today announced its partnership with LATERAL.systems LLC (LATERAL) an emerging AgTech platform company, to accelerate innovation within the novel smart farming markets. The combination of LATERAL's  Industrial IoT solution with IOTech's edge software platform will enhance data acquisition, analysis and management from edge sensors used to enable smart regenerative agriculture solutions.

LATERAL is applying innovative edge platform solutions utilizing AI-driven predictive analytics in support of regenerative agriculture by providing farmers with rich data insights that enable food safety, optimal crop quality and higher yields. This platform will address climate change by supporting successful adoption of novel agriculture approaches such as aquaponics, hydroponics, and aeroponics that reduce agricultural demands for water and energy and reduce waste.
