WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - PennZone -- Matthew Brickman, President of iMediate Inc. released a new video on the company YouTube channel devoted to the controversial topic of child custody. The topic of child custody is frequently discussed in cases with both unmarried individuals with children and divorcing parents. In either case, the laws have changed recently to create a greater sense of parity between the parents.

Mr. Brickman made the statement, "The goal of this video is to guide you through the process of custody for fathers and mothers, which is now called time-sharing in the State of Florida."

There are several different types of physical and legal child custody:

• Legal Custody: Parents who can make legal decisions on matters impacting the child.
• Physical Custody: Parents whose children live with them.
• Sole Custody: One parent has both physical and legal custody of the child. The other parent may have visitation rights. That parent does not have custodial rights and cannot make decisions on matters affecting the child.
• Joint Legal Custody: Both parents have equal say in decisions on matters that impact the child. If there is a disagreement between these two parents the dispute may be settled by a mediator or in court.
• Joint Physical Custody: The children split time between living with both parents.
