Alpharetta's Newest 55+ Build to Rent Community is now Pre-Leasing

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - PennZone -- Hayloft Big Creek, Alpharetta's newest 55+ build to rent community, is now pre-leasing in anticipation of the first phase scheduled to be delivered in November. This is the 2nd Hayloft community to be developed in metro Atlanta, the first being Hayloft Suwanee which opened in early 2023 and is fully occupied.

Hayloft Big Creek offers residents well-appointed floor plans in a combination of attached and detached homes. Designed with the active adult in mind, this is the first community of its kind in Alpharetta, offering the fast-growing build-to-rent product exclusively for residents aged 55 and better. Nestled off Atlanta Highway near Fowler Park, the great location makes it convenient to GA 400, Avalon, The Collection, Halcyon, and more.

"With more empty nesters open to renting, we realized there was an untapped market of people willing to rent but not yet ready make the leap from the single-family home they've owned to a traditional apartment community," said Deke Rochester, Division Partner at OneStreet Residential and the driving force behind the Hayloft brand. "With that objection in mind we set out to create a community that will give residents the ability to move "from a home to a home" in an age-exclusive environment of active adults in the same stage of life as themselves."

Hayloft Big Creek offers residents a choice of 1-, 2-, & 3-bedroom floor plans in both detached and attached configurations. Key design features include quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliance packages including gas stoves, private patios/balconies, full-size washers & dryers, optional loft/office spaces, and modern lighting and fixtures. In addition, several of the floor plans offer 1 or 2 car garages.

Community amenities have been designed for fun and entertainment. The Clubhouse will house the Leasing Office, Community Room, Event Kitchen, and Fitness Center.  An Event Lawn outside of the Clubhouse will have a putting green, cornhole area, pickleball court, outdoor pavilion with a Green Egg© & gas grill, garden beds, and potting shed. Future plans include a sidewalk along Atlanta Highway that will connect to the Big Creek Greenway.

According to Kari Fredrick, Vice President of Marketing for OneStreet Residential, "We are excited to be the first developer bringing the 55+ cottage rental concept to Alpharetta. We carefully selected this incredible location and designed this community for today's empty nesters seeking the lifestyle, freedom and flexibility that renting offers when they can't quite yet see themselves living in an apartment building.   The residents at Hayloft Big Creek will enjoy the benefit of professional management that renting offers, without compromising the conveniences and comfort of homeownership."
