ROCHESTER, N.Y. & PITTSFORD, N.Y. - PennZone -- Clinical psychologist, grief counselor, expressive artist, and widowed mom, Dr. Linda Shanti McCabe, announced the release of her new book, After Your Person Dies: Affirmations for grief, making meaning, and going on, available now along with her other titles on Amazon. In the book, Dr Linda offers readers how to move through difficult topics related to loss such as anger, grief waves, the nonlinear experience of grief, and the things your person leaves behind.

Leading readers through the grief journey, After Your Person Dies: Affirmations for grief, includes personal paintings created by the author in the first year after the loss of her husband as an invitation to see how new meaning can be created while travelling with loss.

Of the new release, Shanti McCabe says "This book was written for anyone that has lost their person, but also for people supporting those who have lost their person. It might be a much better gift than a sympathy card or another casserole."

This book is a response to the loss of her husband providing soothing words, images, and honest reflection about the pain and struggle that we all face when death comes too soon. Embracing the journey through the power of creativity, 'After Your Person Dies' allows us to find hope and resilience in the midst of the grief process."
