LANCASTER, Pa. - PennZone -- GR Mitchell, a long-standing hardware supplier serving both homeowners and professional contractors in Lancaster County, today announced a strategic distribution partnership with Emery Jensen. This marks the end of a longtime supplier relationship with True Value.

The change reflects GR Mitchell's commitment to improving product delivery, broadening inventory, and enhancing value for both homeowner and pro customers. Along with the distribution shift, GR Mitchell is unveiling a new Benjamin Moore paint line in its retail inventory.

"This strategic move was made with our customers in mind," said Angela Paul, Retail Store Manager. "By aligning with Emery Jensen, we'll gain stronger logistics support, more consistent in-stock levels, and access to more brands. Meanwhile, adding Benjamin Moore will provide superior paint options locally."

Why the switch matters
  • Improved inventory and fulfillment — leveraging Emery Jensen's distribution network to reduce stockouts
  • Expanded vendor access — enabling better brand variety and pricing flexibility
  • Enhanced customer experience — more dependable availability for both DIY homeowners and pro contractors

What customers will see
  • A freshly remodeled store layout featuring updated signage and displays
  • A dedicated Benjamin Moore paint section with full color lines
  • Ongoing commitment to local service, friendly staff, and project support

"As your local hardware store in Lancaster, our core values won't change," added Paul. "We remain committed to community, reliability, and exceptional service. This distribution shift will allow us to deliver more value."
