El Gobernador Tom Wolf visitó hoy Rivas Deli Grocery II en York, un próximo sitio de vacunación contra el COVID-19, para alentar a los residentes de Pennsylvania elegibles que aún no están vacunados a aprovechar las clínicas de vacunación de la comunidad local.

"Para las personas con horarios laborales irregulares o impredecibles, movilidad limitada, barreras lingüísticas y otros desafíos, albergar clínicas de vacunación donde y cuando las personas compran alimentos es una excelente oportunidad para que las poblaciones vulnerables se vacunen", dijo el Gobernador Wolf. "Esta próxima clínica es un gran ejemplo de cómo las organizaciones y los líderes comunitarios de confianza pueden marcar la diferencia cuando se involucran en el esfuerzo de vacunación".

El jueves, 23 de septiembre, Family First Health ofrecerá las vacunas COVID-19 de 12 del mediodía a 4 p.m. en Rivas Deli Grocery II, 174 S. Pine St. York, PA 17403.

La semana pasada, el Departamento de Salud de Pennsylvania anunció que, desde enero de 2021, el 97 por ciento de las muertes relacionadas con COVID-19 y el 95 por ciento de las hospitalizaciones reportadas debido a COVID-19 fueron en personas no vacunadas o no completamente vacunadas.
