OTTAWA, Ontario - PennZone -- edjuster, a leading North American provider of end-to-end services for the property contents insurance marketplace, today announced that Angela Plater has joined the company as Security and Compliance Officer, to support the Company during its continued growth in North America.

Reporting directly to Andy Williams, President and CEO, Ms. Plater's mandate is to ensure that edjuster is conducting business in full compliance with all regional, national and international laws and regulations that pertain to edjuster's specific industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards.

As edjuster continues to expand its North American footprint in the contents claims market, the addition of Ms. Plater reflects the company's commitment to safeguarding the personal data and information of all its stakeholders – employees, policyholders, partners and clients – and ensuring compliance with regional, national and international privacy laws and regulations.

Ms. Plater offers extensive knowledge and experience developing, implementing and auditing security controls, policies and processes to ensure compliance with multiple clients; security, regulatory, compliance and privacy requirements (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR). Her previous experience with leading technology companies including MindBridge, Nakisa, Pythian and Canadian Blood Services, makes her an ideal candidate to lead edjuster through the next phase of growth, while ensuring optimum security and compliance.
