NEW YORK - PennZone -- BitRouter, a leading provider of software for cable, terrestrial, IP, satellite and mobile receivers, today announced the release of Dihedral Software functionality for its ATSC3pro Receiver at the NAB Show New York. The virtual event is taking place October 20-29, 2020 and is promoted as the industry's leading platform to refocus, re-engage and reimagine the digital future of media and entertainment.
BitRouter's latest release of the Dihedral Software includes the addition of features such as auto software updates, ability to hide unwanted channels and additive channel scan. In addition, the grid guide user interface has been enhanced with ATSC 3.0 channel visualization as well as signal strength visualization in the program info bar. ATSC3pro is a Linux-based ATSC 3.0 set-top box and gateway. ATSC3pro is based on BitRouter's ATSC 3.0 middleware package called ATSC3pak that implements ATSC 3.0 standards to introduce better picture and sound quality, interactivity and mobility to the TV watching experience.
