KATY, Texas - PennZone -- Ellen Gillette is a Florida author and illustrator who has published books in several genres under her own name as well as under pen name Emily Sharpe. A former newspaper columnist, missionary, and educator, she currently substitute teaches and performs with several community theaters. Another inspirational romance of hers, "For Such a Time" (Pen It Publications) was recently a finalist in the 2022 American Fiction Awards.
