PHILADELPHIA - PennZone -- After a sold out Chicago show, Ms. Anita Wilson brings her City Winery Tour to Philadelphia on Friday, May 26, 2023. Wilson will take the Main Stage at 7:30pm with doors opening at 6:00pm.

Since 2019, Ms. Anita Wilson has played several City Winery Venues including Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, New York, and D.C.. The venues offer intimate concerts, timeless music, and local wine.

"After more than a decade of solo-artistry and being the first Gospel artist to headline City Wineries around the nation four years ago, the opportunity to play again in the City of Soul feels amazing. The concerts in their venues are always a vibe," shares Wilson. "I'm excited to rock with my Philly family and share some of my latest music along with fan favorites."

The Philly show will feature special guest, Jason Paul, affectionately known as JPaul as the opening act.  Playful yet soulful, JPaul's music reflects his love for R&B, soul and humble beginnings in the gospel arena. His vocal career includes singing for musical greats like Stephanie Mills, Tonex, and Tamar Braxton.

"I've sung background for Anita on numerous occasions, but this time is different," states JPaul. "My big sister has welcomed me to open her show. That's a privilege and an honor that gives me joy."

ABOUT MS. ANITA WILSON: Embarking on a decade of contributions to the music industry, Ms. Anita Wilson, has established a career destined for longevity. After nearly 10 years as a vocalist with Donald Lawrence & Company, Anita emerged as a solo artist, bringing a classic presence, unique vocal stylings, and heartfelt delivery to gospel and soul music genres. Ms. Anita Wilson has released three GRAMMY nominated albums: Worship Soul (2013), Vintage Worship (2015), and Sunday Song (2018). Her EP, Dance Soul, was released in the Spring of 2020 with her fourth album, Soul Sister (2021), out now. She is the CEO of Reflection Media, Inc.
