PITTSBURGH - PennZone -- Pollock Begg, the largest family law firm in western Pennsylvania, has promoted attorneys Alexandra L. Kovalchick and Megan A. DelVecchio to partner.

Kovalchick joined Pollock Begg as a senior associate in 2022 and brings more than 16 years of experience in diverse family law matters including divorce, support, custody and protection from abuse to her practice.

Kovalchick serves the local legal community as a member of both the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania bar associations' family law sections. Kovalchick is a Fellow in the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and served on the ACBA Nominating Committee in 2024. She was appointed as a co-chair of the ACBA Health and Wellness Committee in 2022 and continues to serve in that role, presenting seminars focused on the physical and mental wellbeing of members of the bench and bar. Kovalchick is completing a three-year term as the family law representative of the ACBA Judiciary Committee. She was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars honoree from 2013-22 and a Best Lawyers in America honoree since 2024.

DelVecchio joined Pollock Begg as an associate in 2020, bringing extensive trial experience, specialized mediation training and skill in collaboratively settling cases out of court to her family law practice.

Passionate about enhancing the local legal community, DelVecchio has presented continuing legal education seminars for the Matrimonial Inns of Court, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations and her alma mater, Duquesne University School of Law.

She serves as secretary of the board of directors for the Matrimonial Inns of Court and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Leadership Development Program. She's garnered recognition on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list annually since 2018 and on the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch list since 2024.
